Henry, on the other hand, is looking into going to school for electrical engineering. He loves to tinker, and is extremely intelligent, so that seems perfect! He likes his job now at Humana, but I think he just wants more.
So all this talk of school makes me hungry. Not sure why. We had our first real pizza last night since we've been on this diet. Real as in frozen, not restaurant. We drove around for like 45 minutes driving up to places to 'scope out the nasties' (I'm a germ freak and won't eat anywhere that looks shady) and probably drove Henry crazy. And Annie. We went home with empty tummies and then I sent Henry out to get some pizzas. I got Pep's (my all time favorite) and he got Tombstone I think. Annie loves pizza.. and spinach, and broccoli. Weird girl. Anyway, this was the most amazing pizza I've had in months! We have only been eating our Gluten free Wheat free Taste free crusts with cheese on them. They taste like cornbread. Yum, cornbread.. Reminds me that THANKSGIVING is in a couple days. Hooray! My only holiday with Annie! I'm only excited for Thanksgiving so it can be Christmas sooner, and we can finally celebrate/decorate without guilt. :) I'm having trouble deciding if I want to go out shopping on Black Friday. I told Henry we should just go to the mall with cameras and record everyone going crazy. Back in Menominee/Marinette it was busy, but busy there was the equivalent of a normal day at the mall here. I can't imagine what it will be like..

Hi,
ReplyDeleteSaw your comment on my family's blog so I thought I stop by yours!! :)
Canon versus Nikon was a HUGE question for me when I purchased my first SLR!! Somehow (God's grace. :)) I decided on a Nikon D80 and I have LOVED it from the very first day. Since then I have shot with multiple cameras in the Nikon line (D40, D40X, D80 and D200) as well 3 or 4 of the Canon cameras and can say without a doubt; Nikon is superior!!
The specs are so similar for most of the cameras, but for me the biggest thing is Nikon is completely user friendly! You can't help but be swept away by it's easily manipulated controls, simple menus etc....
Amazingly enough, the first SLR I ever used, before I purchase my own, was a Canon Rebel XTI. It was greek to me. I couldn't tell what to alter to get a good picture.
But when I bought my Nikon and used it.......it was amazing.
Also, your settings vary the results greatly but I have noticed that Nikon cameras typically produce brighter and crisper colors.....
As for me, I've been pursuing photography for 3 years and have recently begun to launch the baby steps of my own photography business. I currently shoot with my beloved D80, but have recently purchased a D200 as I prepare for two weddings next year.
Sorry if I rambled, I'm a total stranger, but I thought maybe you'd appreciate a first-hand review. :)
God Bless- Have a fabulous Thanksgiving!
