A weekend of wind and fun

Well, today is just one of those days. Except it's not. I have been in a pretty crafty mood lately, and I was going to make some 'yarn balls' and needed some glue, but my vehicle decided not to start (for at least the 4th time). So I've been fiddling with the battery charger all day with everything but luck. Oh well, I took pictures of our weekend instead. :)

Friday was ok, I went over to my friend's house for lunch. Stiry fry mmmmmmm! She introduced me to some really awesome stuff:

Barlean's Omega Swirl

It was really good, not like the other fish oils I've taken before.

Friday night was somewhat of a bummer night. We skipped 'Life Group' (bible study) because the lady whose house it was at had bronchitis and I didn't want to risk Annie getting it. So we stayed home and watched Moulin Rouge instead. My favorite!

Saturday morning I made Annie a cute kitty blanket. (Henry helped a little with the tying)

:)

Later I went to my FIRST farmer's market. ( ! )
It was amazing. Organic food + Crafts = Emily Heaven :) I found some really cute bows for Annie, I decided not to buy any because I wasn't ready to pay $4 for something I can copy and make myself. But, I have yet to find any online.
I also found these scrumptious peppers (I love peppers). I got a whole bag full for $2!! That's pretty good for organic, especially since our grocery store sells 3 organic bell peppers in a pack for $8. Yikes! So we left with a plethora of peppers, some crafty ideas, and a bad hair day (windy windy!!) for $2.30. (30 cents for the parking meter)

Aren't they beautiful?
That night was fun, we went to our friend's house for poker. They are a blast. We didn't get home until 12:30. Which is fine since they literally live right around the corner to our house. We met them at 'Life Group' a few weeks back.

Yesterday, Henry and I went to church, and then went shopping after. I found myself the most amazing sweater ever....
...I..Love....

I felt like a young teen modeling for her Myspace hehehe..

So that was my weekend. Tonight we pick up Annie Banannie, then the REAL fun begins! :)
